Anguish and Erotics
The anguish of the erotic takes up what escapes the Freudian psyche, the Freudian fiction, reminding us, as Jorge Canteros writes, that: It was in human sexual nature that psychoanalysis encountered from the beginning something that escaped understanding.3 This moment in which something of the categories of knowledge fails was not without its anguish; mark of the fecundity of eroticism out of which Lacan restores a praxis of erotology.
